Women in Leadership

coaching programme 2025

The aim of this programme is to support women to feel confident, impactful and happy leaders armed with the tools you need to meet the demands of a complex and ever-changing workplace.

A transformative group coaching process May - November 2025 / Online & Live

Leaders in all sectors are under immense pressure as we face complex and interconnected challenges to deliver the work we aspire to do and make the impact we all desire.

A recent survey of cross sector leaders revels that 96% of public sector leaders, 90% in the private sector and 90% in non-profits agree that strong leadership is essential to meet the challenges we face. Yet only 18% of civil servants, 26% of private sector leaders and 34% of not for profits receive the training and development they need to deliver on the desire for strong leadership effectively. (Stat from wig.co.uk)

This coaching offering aims to help fill this gap by offering a is a six-month development journey designed to help you grow into the next version of yourself as the leader you want to be — with the insights, awareness, competence, understanding, skills and clarity of approach you need to thrive in today’s BANI* environment;. In order to operate in what’s been termed a BANI world we are called to innovate

There are two perspectives central to the approach of this coaching programme. Firstly we will always take an outward facing and forward thinking approach to solution generation so that looking up, out and ahead is held as an important direction of travel in leadership. Alongside this we will be mindful and forensic in making sure that our internal world, our mindset, psychological and somatic states are also central to our growing awareness of ourselves as bold leaders.

What's exciting and different about this programme?

 - It is based on my 37 years of professional expertise of working with all types of people just like you to help you locate and activate what matters next in your career and work life; my expertise is in coaching professionals who come to a realisation that there's a Second Act around the corner but who feel lost, stuck, confused or overwhelmed.

- This is my signature programme - tried tested and deeply impactful. I've run this programme many times with excellent results and outcomes for my clients.

- Helping people like you to move forward is one of my superpowers . I see you very clearly; I have run groups for many years, am in clinical supervision and committed to working with a diversity and trauma-informed framework to ensure groups are safe fun and growthful spaces.

- My mission is to help people face the big questions in their careers and lives. The time we have is limited and so living our lives with purpose has huge benefits not only for us - but also for our families, our relationships, our community, our systems and ultimately the planet.

I will lead you through a creative process of learning and discovery and 'hold space' for you and the group to explore, learn, discover and generate new and exciting ideas. You will action new ideas and take your next steps - whatever this is for you. Most importantly you will become really clear on what supports you to succeed and what gets in the way of your happiness and success.

  • Kelly is a coach, a consultant, an artist and an activist. A multiple award winning professional and known for her incredible ability to motivate, inspire and enable people to transform potential ideas into great things.

This energy is backed-up and demonstrated by a successful and lucrative portfolio career arising from over 37 years of expertise in leadership, strategy and organisational development. She has three BA and MA degrees in Philosophy, Fine Art and Social Work, and additional qualifications in Counselling, Groupwork and Analytical Network Coaching.

Kelly has successfully moved between careers; trained, qualified, and practiced in a range of helping, counselling, and creative disciplines; run her own successful Strategy and Organisational Development Consultancy business for the last 21 years and mentored emerging and thriving leaders and senior managers. She is a parent, a writer, an exhibiting and selling artist and a local community social activist.

As a solo mum in her second act, Kelly knows the feeling all too well of being pulled in different directions and putting our own needs on the back burner yet still having a desire to do or be more. This work brings together her passion and expertise in helping people to dream BIG and work out what happiness and personal impact looks like for them.

  • Your Second Act is the time for re-invention; a particular stage or moment in our life cycle when the desire and possibly the opportunity comes together for personal and/or professional re-invention. It comes at a particular juncture in our life cycle - a very personal moment when you sense somewhere inside you that it’s time for change in a fundamental way - a ‘what the hell is NEXT? moment.

The Second Act is a time for transformation - not so much as a side step, but more of a leap up and out to somewhere else. A leap out into something or somewhere that you’re not quite sure how you will do it but you know it’s time.

This moment is unique to all of us but it can be determined not only by important life events happening - expected or unexpected, but also by important shifts in our awareness or personal consciousness. Common times for second acts are after having children, turning 40 or 50, pre or post menopause, at a relationship split up or new beginning, during a physical move or after an illness.

It’s the time in your life when little internal voices have become a bit louder and you’ve realised that you are not getting any younger and it is time to face these fears and see if your visions and ideas have ‘legs’.

The Second Act is the moment when you feel like you have had enough of what you have ‘been’, you want to shed some skin and grow into a new identity

Interestingly women give this moment a series of common names. They talk about this moment as a feeling of plateauing - a moment where the future feels unclear; there’s no clear sense of direction or the possibility of going back, but moving forward seems baffling.

Others talk about their Second Act as a moment where they experience a new sense of clarity and perspective - knowing that they just cannot carry on with the path they are on any more.

In many cases women describe this as a moment when we realise we’ve served others needs or expectations for a long time, when we may have subsumed our own identity or when our sense of self has gone or been outgrown. It is a powerful moment of realisation when women notice how they put their needs to the bottom of the pile, when they realise their life has been focused on others expectations, or a relationship isn’t feeding them anymore; when a break-up might be imminent or when a health scare wakes us up to the fact that life is short and time is ticking. Second Acts can come at the point when kids are about to complete their exams or leave home and suddenly this initial phase of mothering is done and there is time and space ahead but no clear sense of direction or purpose.

It’s a moment when women see that there can be very real barriers and obstacles that they will face in shaking up their own system and that these will need to be faced, explored, understood and disarmed in order to move through what’s holding them back.

Finally it’s the next and new chapter - a time when YOU get to decide – not your parents, school, partner, family, community or society – but the time in your life when you stand up and say it’s my time to do what I want to do. When it’s time to embody a renewed sense of self and re-find the next true nature of what is wanted or needed for happiness health satisfaction wealth and contentment; to morph into the next incarnation, the next iteration, the next layer of the onion.

  • Not at all. What you do need is a positive intention to start to explore ideas and do the work that will help you move into your Second Act.

The course is designed as a process and a journey. It is the journey that will be useful to go on - you might not necessarily know what the destination will look like yet. The course is designed so that you get an opportunity and space to think about and answer incisive questions about your Second Act - how you would like your work life to be. I will lead you through a process that will open up ideas and thinking. Whatever you come on the programme with will be exactly the right place for you to be.
