Why choose to work with me?

My background in professional development and innovation has been a gained via a very interesting working life with an exciting and impressive range of voluntary and statutory organisations.

Initially qualifying with a BA in Philosophy and then an MA in Social Work, I became CEO of a small and strategically important national youth volunteering charity (Student Volunteering UK) at the age of 28 where I worked directly with young volunteers and at ministerial policy level.  I have successfully moved between careers; trained qualified and practiced in a range of helping/counselling and creative disciplines; run my own successful strategy and development consultancy business for 16 years; mentored emerging and successful leaders and senior managers; I am a parent, an exhibiting and selling artist and a local community social activist.  When I work with you I draw on all of this to make your experience meaningful, dynamic and most of all useful!

When you work with me I am focussed not only on outcomes but also process and progress.  I am keen to make sure you get value for your investment of time and money.

I work with people in a number of ways:

  • coaching and mentoring for leaders/senior managers/career changers and people returning to the workplace

  • via a 1:1 or group based dynamic space for thinking, planning and making life changes

  • freelance and new business development

  • organisational development consultancy

You will be visiting my site because you might be interested in one to one/group coaching work with me, or you may have an organisational development challenge you need help with.   You might want to see my paintings, or know more about the social action work I do. Whatever the reason you are here I hope this site draws together all the ways I can work with you.
